Three Emmy Award Nominations.
Three films I worked on have received Emmy Award nominations for 2016. Living With Lincoln for HBO by Kunhardt Films (two nominations,) Larry Kramer: In Love and Anger for HBO by Jeanne Carlomusto (two nominations) and San Francisco 2.0 for HBO by Alexandra Pelosi.
Congratulations to all involved in these great films!
The World Premiere of "Everyone Knows Elizabeth Murray" today at the Tribeca Film Festival
I will be attending the premiere this evening of this wonderful film I had the pleasure of working on. This out-of-competition documentary with voice overs by Meryl Streep will be screened at Whitney Museum of American Art as part of the Tribeca Film Festival .An additional screening tomorrow (Sunday) at the Regal Cinemas Battery Park.
Do you know Elizabeth Murray? I didn't before, but I'm glad I do now.
Thinking of Barbara.
The Tribeca Film Festival and the new Whitney Museum will host the world premiere of EVERYBODY KNOWS ELIZABETH MURRAY
Post production has finished on Everybody Knows Elizabeth Murray
The Whitney Museum will host the world premiere of this wonderful film about the life and work of this important artist. The screening on April 23rd is a part of the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival as an out-of-competition documentary.
It was a great experience working with a very talented team of film makers headed by director Kristi Zea.
This film comes to the public at a meaningful time for me. My Aunt recently passed away and she would have loved this film. She was very involved in the art world in Los Angeles. Colorists have no real claim on dedicating films, but in my heart, this one is for Barbara.
Emmy Award Nominations
Congratulations to the teams of people I had the pleasure of working with that have received Emmy Award Nominations. Bravo!

BAM to screen Here Come the Videofreex
Here Come the Videofreex by Jon Nealon and Jenny Raskin will be part of BAM's Cinefest 2015. The screening Saturday June 21st will include a panel discussion with the filmmakers and members of the Videofreex. Haven't heard of the Videofreex? Go see the film! And oh yeah, the colorist will be in attendance as well.
HBO to air Larry Kramer doc
Larry Kramer in Love and Anger will have its television premiere on Monday June 29th on HBO. The film was seen at the Sundance Film Festival this year. Love him or hate him, Larry Kramer's passion played a huge role in the fight against AIDS. Please tune in on the 29th, Larry's 80th birthday.
Tonight on HBO
The world premiere of Living With Lincoln is tonight at 9 on HBO. This extraordinarily beautiful, movingly personal film by Peter Kunhardt and Brian Oakes is close to my heart. Peter is one of my oldest clients. I knew him before the birth of the two sons that helped him make this film. Living With Lincoln tells a family history that is interwoven with the history of a great man of world history, Abraham Lincoln. The look and sound and heart of this film are very special. Please tune in and spread the word.
