Bernard and Huey World Premiere

Germany's Oldenburg film festival will host the world premiere of Dan Mirvish's new film Bernard and Huey. Written by Jules Feiffer and starring David Koechner and Jim Rash, the film was color corrected by me at Different By Design studio in Los Angeles. At least 12 other festivals have lined up to show the film. Thanks Dan and Bernie! I had a great time.

World Premiere

As part of the celebration of 100 years of Latvian cinema, "Grandpa, More Dangerous than a Computer," the latest film from director Varis Brasla, will have its world premiere on august 18th in Riga, Latvia.

Credited as "filmas krāsu mākslinieks Dzons Fordhems" (film color artist, Jon Fordham), it was my great pleasure to work on this beautiful film with editor Maris Berzins and DP Uldis Jancis.

Grandpa: More Dangerous Than a Computer

Final color correction has been completed on the new film by renoun Latvian film director Varis Brasla. Selected as part of a group of films to celebrate 100 years of Latvian Cinema, this beautiful, bucolic story follows a boy spending summer in the country with his grandparents. The sound mix and finishing touches are now underway in Riga.

Shot in 6k on a Red Dragon camera, it was a dream working with the editor and DP finding just the right rendering of the Baltic summer light.

The film will premiere this summer in Latvia. Look for its American debut down the line.
